November 4 – Travel Day Amsterdam to Nairobi

After two flights of approximately 8 hours each, we arrived in Nairobi. After a lengthy security process (took nearly 2 hours) we finally arrived at our hotel.

Our flight to Zanzibar was scheduled for 1pm tomorrow; however, we were bumped to a flight at 8pm. We’re exploring options of what to do around Nairobi for a half day.

For the techies, my camera kit consists of a Canon R6, a Canon R5 mkii, an RF 24-105 F4, and an RF 100-500 F4.5-7.1. I also have a tripod, remote trigger, and variable filter. I wanted to pack other lenses, particularly my macro, but with weight restrictions on flights I opted for only two lenses.

Tomorrow will be something around Nairobi and then a quick flight to Zanzibar.
