November 19 – transfer camps, game drives, and a sundowner
On our morning game drive we saw the same lion pride with multiple cubs.we didn’t get to spent much time with them as they went deeper into the bushes to nap.

We spent some time with a parade of elephants, a variety of birds, a couple of jackals, a tower of giraffes, and a lioness on the hunt of an impala.

We returned to camp to have breakfast and pack up. We then checked out and transferred to our next camp, Eagleview which is also in Naboisho conservancy.
The tents at Eagleview are absolutely incredible. Not only are they massive, but they also have an amazing view over a valley that has a river and a natural salt lick.

We had lunch at Eagleview and a bit of time to settle in before departing on our evening game drive. We chatted with our guide and learned about the Masai culture. the highlight of this game drive was definitely seeing the female leopard again, this time we did not see her cub, but she spent time in and out of the bushes looking for dinner.

We found a good spot and stopped for a sundowner where we enjoyed the sunset, snack, and drinks. After the sun went down we could see a thunderstorm on the horizon. I set up my camera on a tripod and set it to continua 2 second captures to photograph the lightning.

Sadly, we are nearing the end of the trip. We only have a couple of safari days left before heading home.
Thanks for wandering with me,
Julie
